Have you ever gotten a call, text or email that looks suspicious or been taken by a scam? Never mind being over 50, these kinds of things happen every day to people of all ages. Learn to spot, avoid and report scams. You will walk away armed with the tools to spot criminals and stop them in their tracks.
When scammers attempt to wash checks, they can take off ballpoint pen ink in minutes and they have a blank check in their hands. However, gel pens are much more difficult for scammers to wash off. Gel pens will be provided to the audience so they can use them for writing future checks.
Refreshments will be served at the end of the program.
