After seeing how many people have a fear of flight, Carol Harris developed this presentation so that the flying public would learn the “behind the scenes” of their flight and become more comfortable fliers. A commercial, instrument-rated pilot who just returned to flying after an 8-year hiatus, Carol’s love of aviation has manifested itself as an Angel Flight pilot, having flown 80 missions for the organization. As an aviation historian she developed presentations on the history of aviation from pre-flight to World War II and has donated time as a docent to the Cradle of Aviation Museum on Long Island.
